NEGOTIATE TO WIN This workshop is designed to give practical guidelines on the necessary techniques and skills for achieving a win/win outcome and building future relationships in any negotiating situation. These are life skills and open to anyone who wishes to get more out of life Duration: 2hrs Suitable for: All who negotiate with staff, suppliers, clients and colleagues, both inside and outside the organisation Benefits of attending - to:  Increase awareness of the different approaches to negotiations and what they imply for managers  Develop successful negotiation strategies  Improve the interpersonal skills crucial to successful negotiation  Develop ways of integrating negotiating skills and techniques into the management role Outline programme: • Negotiations and the role of the manager • Identifying when we negotiate • Assessing the barriers and pitfalls • Different approaches to negotiation o Examination of different strategies • Preparing for negotiation • Techniques for opening and developing negotiations • Rapport building, listening and questioning, summarising and body language • Tactical considerations • Closing the negotiations successfully Reflective learning and action planning All Workshops are facilitated by an experienced subject expert, rich in content and designed to be insightful and inspiring. There will be a mix of individual and group work as well as video and case studies to bring the learning to life. All participants will leave with their action plans that they can implement the very next day at work
